  • This sofa is expertly crafted in the USA with a kiln-dried hardwood frame that is carefully doweled and corner-blocked for lasting strength and stability. The controlled drying process removes moisture to help prevent cracking or warping over time.
  • Premium supportive foam cushions enveloped in fiber padding offer a soft, inviting sit that maintains both shape and support with time. A generous low-profile arm adds to the relaxed form.
  • To maintain even wear and lasting comfort, cushions should be regularly fluffed and rotated after use.
  • Durable sinuous steel springs are engineered to maintain consistent support beneath the seat cushions.
  • Plastic glides protect floors and reduce friction when moving.
  • Kelso and Vos upholstery fabrics are environmentally friendly, made from recycled water bottles and have no chemical additives. They can be cleaned and sanitized using bleach or any additional disinfectants without experiencing color loss or degradation.

Esker Collection

Designed 2021

We never shy away from experimenting with something we've never seen before, but in order to provide a high-value sofa for a lower price, with Esker we stuck with easy-to-achieve forms and construction. What could have been a drawback, instead became an opportunity to play with proportions and feel to come up with a sofa collection that is more than the sum of its parts.

 

Focusing on a few simple moves and keeping the arms, back, and seat separated allowed us to establish a pleasing composition and a modern look. We stretched the proportions out for added comfort, extending the seat cushions just past the deck and keeping the generous arms low so you can rest your head without straining your neck.

 

The sofa gets is name from the raised back's resemblance to a ridge-like geological formation of sand, gravel, and boulders deposited by a stream flowing within a glacier. Sticking with the ecological theme, we opted for polyester made of recycled water bottles and no chemical additives. Offering a casual, comfortable and compatible style, Esker is the white t-shirt every living room's pair of jeans.
